If you are visiting Santander, one of the places that should be on your list is the Magdalena Peninsula. It not only stands out for the great palace that bears its name, but also for being located in a unique place. City Sightseeing offers you a visit on board our panoramic tourist train, so you can comfortably move around the place and enjoy incredible views.

The tour starts at the entrance of the Magdalena Peninsula. From here you will enjoy a tour through the surrounding area until you reach the highest part of the peninsula. During the tour, you can learn much more about the history of this place thanks to our audio guide system, available in several languages.

Hop off at the top of the hill, where you can explore the area at your own pace. Here you will find the Magdalena Palace, which was once the royal residence. Today it is one of Santander's most emblematic buildings. From here you can also enjoy the wonderful views of the cliffs, the Mouro Island or the beaches of the Sardinero. If you come during the summer months, our guides will explain more about the area, its history and some of the palace's curiosities.

The ticket also includes the return journey. Our audio guide will tell you more about the peninsula as you pass by the Museum of Man and the Sea or the curious mini zoo, home to sea lions, seals and penguins.
